Mango and lime sorbet

Mango and lime sorbet
  • 1.4 kg mango
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1.5 cups of water
  • 1/4 cup lime juice

Used: Mango Puree

Method of preparation:

Peel the mango and cut into small pieces.

In a saucepan, combine sugar and water and bring to a boil and cook until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and cool.

Meanwhile, in a blender, chop the mango puree to the state. Then strain through a sieve - should have about 2 cups of puree. Mix in the lime juice and sugar syrup.

Pour into a freezer or in a container and in the freezer to freeze, stirring every 45 minutes.
